Who is JASE Medical for?

JASE Medical is for adults who desire an emergency supply of medication to have on hand in the event of a serious emergency or when professional medical help is not available.

Is JASE available in my state or country?

Our service is available in both the US and Canada. We are currently identifying opportunities for additional countries outside of the US. If we aren’t in your country please email answers@jasemedical.com and we’ll put your request at the top of our list for expansion.

Is my information safe?

Yes, as a telemedicine company your privacy and security is our top priority. We operate in complete compliance with governmental regulations and employ strict security measures to protect your privacy and data.

Who are the healthcare professionals on the JASE Medical platform?

In accordance with our commitment to safety and as leaders in the space of emergency medication we use board-certified physicians in our provider network.

Requirements

Is it legal to prescribe medication online?

Yes. JASE Medical contracts with physicians who are licensed to prescribe medicine and treat patients in your area, and complies with all governing medical laws.

Why do you need a picture of my ID?

To comply with telemedicine laws our physicians are required to verify their patients identity with a government issued photo ID. We ask for a photo of your unexpired government issued ID (such as a driver’s license or passport).

Do I need to have a current primary care doctor to use JASE Medical?

Our physicians are not meant to replace your primary care provider. In order to safely prescribe medication we require that you have been seen by a health care provider for a general exam within the past 2 years.

Emergency Use Medications

How long can the antibiotics be stored for?

Most antibiotics will come with a manufacturer’s expiration date between 2 and 3 years from the date of manufacture. To maximize the shelf-life of your medications they should be stored in air-tight containers in a cool, dry environment.

Under proper storage conditions antibiotics expiration dates can be extended for a MINIMUM of an additional 5 years.

Studies have shown that, when stored in a dry, cool environment, these types of medications retain greater than 90% of their potency after 20 years.

Is it legal to prescribe medications for emergency use?

Yes, prescribing antibiotics or other medications to have on hand for future use in the event of travel or emergency is a common practice among providers. With modern telemedicine technology we are able to provide this service to patients via online encounters while also complying with all governmental regulations. Our goal is to provide all patients the ability to prepare for their health and safety against the unexpected.

Which medications are prescribed for an emergency supply?

For chronic disease medications, we offer a wide range of options depending on your current medication list. WE DO NOT PRESCRIBE NARCOTIC MEDICATIONS OF ANY KIND.

Our Emergency Antibiotic Pack contains the following medications:

  • Amoxicillin-Clavulanate
  • Azithromycin
  • Ciprofloxacin
  • Doxycycline
  • Metronidazole
Are these medications the same as provided by my local pharmacy?

Yes. They are the same medications as you would purchase from your local pharmacy or hospital. As much as we would like to only use medications produced in the United States, the reality is that generic antibiotics are no longer produced in the US.

By the way, JASE will be changing this in the not too distant future!

Why does my packaging look different than what I see on the website or an advertisement?

Your medications are shipped from independent licensed pharmacies and are usually shipped in their standard pill bottles. While your bottle may be a different color than what you see on our site, the medications it contains are the same!

Which conditions are treated by these antibiotics?

Antibiotics taken for an infection should be specifically prescribed for an individual and an associated infection. Some of the possible infections treated by these antibiotics include:

  • Bioterror from anthrax, plague, and tularemia
  • Bite wounds
  • Cellulitis
  • Diverticulitis

Can I order a specific medication?

Depends. For most medications used to treat chronic conditions you can request specific medications. However, at this time JASE Medical does not offer the ability to select specific medications or to place partial orders for antibiotic kits.

Are these medications safe?

All medications carry risk in their use, these antibiotics are selected for their effectiveness while optimizing patient safety. While some of the antibiotics may have more risk this must also be balanced by their intended use, that of an emergency when no other better options are available.

How often can I reorder?

We take antimicrobial stewardship seriously. Our policy is to only allow ONE Emergency Antibiotic Pack per person per year.

Can I get a prescription for narcotic pain medication?
No, JASE Medical does not prescribe opiate or narcotic medications of any kind.

How is my order shipped?

Your medication is shipped directly from our partner pharmacy via either USPS or the Canadian Post. For US orders, you will receive tracking information when your order ships.

I didn't receive my tracking number?

If you did not receive a tracking number, please contact us at answers@jasemedical.com.

I didn't receive my case/booklet?

The supply chain issues that our world is currently facing is making it extremely challenging for us to obtain cases and books in a timely manner. We will receive more over the coming week and will start shipping as soon as they arrive. They will be shipped in the order in which your original order was received. JASE Medical felt it was important to get the antibiotics out as soon as possible and ship cases and booklets later. That way customers could have medication on hand in case of an emergency. Please contact us and we can send you a digital copy of the guide book if you wish.

Where do I pick up my order?

One of our partner pharmacies will ship it directly to the address you provided upon placing your order. There is no need to pick up your medication from a pharmacy.

How can I return my order?

Once an order has been processed by the pharmacy we are unable to accept any returns and all sales are final. If you feel that a mistake has been made with your order please email us at answers@jasemedical.com.
